Vi has been working in oral healthcare for almost 50 years now, amazingly enough! She definitely does a great job of helping our patients achieve healthier, cleaner smiles through her work. As for her education, she studied dental hygiene at Darton College of Dental Professions in Albany, GA.
Outside of working hours, Vi is passionate about pretty much anything to do with the beach, boating, diving, and water in general. She also likes to garden, read, and take good care of her 16-year-old Bichon Frise.
JoanE has been working in dental care for over 35 years now, with many of them spent right here at Dr. Hoop’s dental office. There’s a lot to love about her job, especially getting to watch a patient’s transformation over time and seeing their face just light up with joy at the end result! It’s also wonderful that the people she works with don’t feel like just other employees – they’re family!
When she isn’t busy at work, JoanE spends a lot of time with her pets. Petey is her little pup, and she takes him to the dog park regularly. Tabby is her cat. As for personal hobbies, she enjoys cooking, watching movies, and singing in her church choir.
Teresa studied dental assisting at Great Lakes Medical Careers and has her Expanded Duties certification as well. Today, her career in the field spans almost 20 years! She goes the extra mile to help our patients (especially the ones with dental anxiety) feel comfortable and well-informed throughout the treatment process. Sharing in their excitement as they achieve their goals is an amazing experience! She also feels proud to be a part of Dr. Hoop’s constant striving for excellence. She’s always learning and growing alongside her awesome coworkers at the dental office.
Away from work, Teresa has an awesome husband named Mark, two sons named Mitchel and Ethan, and one daughter named Madelyn. As for her personal interests, she enjoys staying healthy through nutrition and exercise, going pontoon boating/fishing with her hubby, shopping with her daughter, attending church, and traveling.
